Ear cleaning
Our team performs ear cleanings using three different techniques
These techniques are: by irrigation with water, by aspiration or using a curette. The audiologist will decide with you which method is preferred.
A cleaning allows us to extract the earwax present in the duct. If earwax was present in abundance and formed an earwax plug, a cleaning will allow you to hear better. It is also possible for earwax to interfere with the proper functioning of a hearing aid and so cleaning will improve your situation.
Who is an ear cleaning for?
Child and adult
The ear cleaning service is offered to all customers. However, there are exceptions (certain types of surgeries, infections, etc.). Our staff is trained when making an appointment to validate your eligibility for the service.
